In 2015 Sport England allowed us to retain the use of what is now called the Legacy Sportshall. The building had previously been earmarked for demolition as part of the new build for the The Grangefield Academy
Thank to the support of theNorthern Education Trust, Stockton-On-Tees Borough Council and our patron Alex Cunningham MP we were able to develop and maintain the facility and ensure over 400 children and adults have acesss to safe indoor physical activity, throughout the year, tackling just some of the challenges we face to improve health and well-being within Stockton.
Since joining SRFC as an 18-year-old, Ollie Shaw has made an incredible 33 consecutive First XV league appearances! What’s even more impressive? He had never played senior rugby union before joining the club and has only ever played First Team Rugby. 🙌
Keep an eye on this rising star —appearance and points records are going to tumble in the years to come! 💪🔥
After a referee inspection and taking into account the weather warning and forecast, today’s games are unfortunately postponed.🔴⚪️ ... See MoreSee Less

We’re at the last home fixture of 2024 as we welcome Ryton RFC to Grangefield 🙌🏉
A few changes from last week:
•Teenager Charlie WG steps in for the unavailable Tom Lloyd🌟
•Ollie Shaw switches to scrum-half for another unavailability, Nic Winstanley, with brother Eliott filling the gap at 15 🏃♂️
•James Leeds is working, and player-coach Eamon Chapman remains injured. Regan Ritchie Shute moves to blindside flanker 🔄
•The return of Rhys Mchugh allows Jimmy Underwood to shift back into the second row 🔙
It’s a hefty pack 💪, which will need to match Ryton’s strong forward battle 🏋️♂️
We’re keeping an eye on storm Darragh and will update you with any changes ☔️🌪
We go again 🔴⚪️
