The sad news has reached us that Gary Skirving has passed away suddenly aged 43.

Gary, older brother of Mark and son of club photographer Dave, came through our Juniors and Colts sides to claim a place in the 1st team front row at the age of 20 with his strong scrummaging. Gary eventually moved out of the area down to the Midlands and played for Tamworth for several seasons, resisting overtures from bigger clubs such as Moseley.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family on this devastating news.
